Azur Raim is the tritagonist of Spira Caelix. Ruthless, crass, and sometimes arrogant, he is the bastard son of Contrant Leor Raimis and half-brother to Euriel Raimis, heir apparent to the Contrancy. Sent away at a young age to live among the draconic tribes of Meridan, Azur has completely eschewed his stuffy parents and their royal expectations and instead prefers to live a life of troublemaking.

Through a series of ridiculous events, he somehow becomes entangled with the fate of one Finnen Medes and thereby swears to protect him. Through that promise, he goes from living a life of carefree deliquency to that of one of Finnen's most trusted companions and a force that may very well help save the world.


Proficient with a variety of weapons, Azur spent his entire childhood sparring and learning to fight scrappy. He is most comfortable with single-handed slashing swords, and often uses wind magic to help him maneuver in fights; he rarely uses magic in isolation for itself.
